it sure as hell wasn't a mint on my pillow this morning...
(okay, exaggeration. it was actually on the cat's purr pad thingy, which is easily replaceable and probably the best place on the whole bed she could've left it. little shit left me a... well, a little shit. GOOD MORNING, BRAZIL!@#)
didn't sleep that well last night, but am feeling surprisingly awake. woke up at 10:00 on the nose, which is good, it's what i'm aiming for most days and don't quite make.
and hey, it's actually a little cool in here again -- i'm wearing socks with my bathrobe. bear in mind that this is not a complaint. if i had control of the thermostat... *sigh* and the cat has made amends by snuggling into her super-warm window box (the radiators are on, ah, full-steam, if you'll pardon the pun) and being cute. all i can see under the bottom of the curtain is her nose, hanging over the edge of the box.
plan for today:
there's other stuff i can and probably will do, but i'd like to get at least some of that done. ooh, and maybe hit home despot to get drywall screws to try and fix my keyboard tray. which i should've done yesterday when i was heading to salvation army, which is Teh Land of 1,000 Home Depots, but i didn't think about it.
and this is all, of course, assuming i don't fall back asleep. cold makes me sleepy, and right now i'm feeling inclined to crawl back into bed. ARGH! MUST... FIGHT... NAP MONSTER!@#

- sack up and take out more trash (esp. 'cause some of it's getting stinky)
- do some more dishes
- do some more picking up (clean off the couch!)
- email AntiquesLady and as her to send the dates and times i worked last year (since i'm not sure i wrote them all down), so i can write her a receipt and fill out a 1099
- pull my brain together enough to figure out whether i've got all my tax forms
- rip some more cds (working on the classical collection)
- throw in some laundry if i'm feeling really industrious (and up to braving the cold)
