this morning is my first appointment w/ the new shrink. too bad i couldn't see him in the throes of the Insomnia Monster. OTOH, hey, sleep! not gonna complain on that score.
didn't wind up going over to paris & linda's last night after all. after i ate dinner, i realized that i was just too damn tired, and needed a night home to futz around and do stuff. also did a yule ritual of sorts. and reinstalled quicken, so i can finally start sorting this shit out better. i'm terrible at writing transactions down, but i do have a digital recorder, so i think i'm gonna be making use of that for now on. much easier to sit in the car and just quickly say "$14.99 -- cat bed -- petsmart" than writing it all out in the check register. (for those of you who give a shit, i did NOT actually buy all that crap for my cat. i was thinking about a new bed for her, but decided to wash one of her old beds and smear it with catnip. that oughta be just as good. it just lent itself to the example, is all. >;)
