a few weeks ago, one of the other GLT volunteers was hanging around during our shift, and told us he also helps out with a behavioral study they're doing on the elephants. some of the behaviors they record are things like bathing, spraying water with their trunks, and masturbation. that's right, boys & girls: apparently having a prehensile trunk leads to the sin of touching yourself. you heard it here first.
