I am published!!!!
Nope it's nothing as exciting as a book deal, but on August 13th, a paper that I've been working on since March 2011 was published (yes, nearly four and a half years). We were working on nerve regeneration following damage, and managed to discover some key mechanisms and cells involved in the successful repair of damaged/severed nerves.

Admittedly I got bumped down the author list (rather a lot actually), but I suspected the group leader would do that once I left, and frankly even if I put in more work such that I should be higher, I am just happy for once finally seeing my work recognised as it should be with an authorship.
