First, Tim Minchin was awesome. And even more awesome, because of the Royal Wedding there were a ton of no-shows (the gig was scheduled before the Royal Wedding date was announced) as they were off getting off their tits at one of the many street parties throughout the country. Coincidentally Friday was the night they were filming for the DVD. Where does the awesome come in, I hear you ask? Well, I'd only been able to get me and my friend circle seats (which sounds good, except at the Royal Albert hall the circle is in fact on the third floor (way high up) and our area had a restricted view, but for £40, it's a steal to see a show at the Royal A. However because of the mass of unfilled seats, we had a very generous usher come up and offer us free, that's right free, upgrades to the top price stalls seats, which retailed for £55, so a £15 saving, and a killer view. 9th row!!!

Now the show itself was absolutely fantastic, their are bound to be vids floating about on youtube, check out "Context" as it was apparently the first time he managed to get through it without mucking it up, and it was brilliant. Lots of banter and fun, and I couldn't have picked a better friend to drag along. I have a few pics I managed to snap on the sly, and if any of them came out well, as soon as my phone and computer start talking to each other again I'll update this post with them.
