A Brief Introduction
Hello and welcome to my little corner of cyber space, my name is Nixie, and I obviously have an enlarged sense of self importance, but I digress.
Contained within this journal, in some semblance of order, are amateur scribblings. I primarily write for myself, which is why my updating on writing is sporadic at best, and often times I can remove whole pieces because I simply don't like it. I'm working on a masterlist, but in the meantime my tags and memories are fairly organised, if you want the most up-to-date stuff head over to my ij under the same name, where you don't have to put up with my rambling.
If you friend me and I don't friend you back, please don't be offended, not all the people I've friended have friended me back. If I don't know you, please introduce yourself, I don't bite I promise. If I've friended you and you're curious as to whom I am because I haven't commented, hi! I'm one of the many lurkers you have who has yet to gather the courage to actually start commenting, this is because I think you're cool, and feel like an utter dweeb in comparison.
Please don’t steal my work, if you would like to work within a universe I’ve created, or want to do a spin off or retelling of a story I’ve told just ask. Generally speaking I will say yes and just ask that a note be added stating where you got the idea from. Very rarely will I say no, but I’d prefer to be asked out of common courtesy.
If there is no warning on my work and no listed pairing then assume it is gen and contains no objectionable content. I warn for all sorts of things because I’m aware that one person’s joy is another person’s horror, so if there’s something you would like me to warn for let me know. Simply put, I prefer to over warn than under warn when it comes down to these things.
To what’s important; I have decided, for now, not to lock down my journal, this is in part because I'm not nearly popular enough to get away with it and also I suspect it will be too much work. That said I strongly advise responsible reading, nothing I write is appropriate for children.
