PSYCH: The Dah-Ling Store-It-Yourself (PG-13), Shawn/Lassiter.

The bad news is that one of Lassiter's highest profile arrests has just escaped from prison. The worse news is that his best hope of tracking him down is a sleep-deprived Shawn Spencer.

Thank you! I can't tell you how happy it makes me that you picked out that scene to comment on, because I actually wrote that conversation between Shawn and Lassiter before any of the rest of it, and then kind of based a whole fic around it. ;-)

Really?!? YAY! *hugs self* Don't mind my self-congratulatory preening--I love it when a reader tags my favorite line as hers, but I think I might love it even more when I tag an awesome author's favorite line as mine.

Seriously, your writing? I will weep, physically weep, when you stop being interested in this pairing. ♥

So, the plot thickens! Everytime they get something figured out, a twist throws up more questions. \o/

I loved Lassie's 'war room' and all his notes. He was so close to having it figured out. Will he eventually listen to Shawn?

Once again, great interactions between Shawn/Gus and Shawn/Lassie. The banter and snark is spot on, as is Carlton's balancing act between wanting to murder Shawn and keep him safe :).

Laura.

Pop culture refs :) Sydney Bristow and Alex Mahone, at that.

And that entire conversation that began “Okay, here are the ground rules,” Lassiter started. “Question,” Shawn interrupted. “Do the ground rules still apply if you’re on the second floor?”
That was priceless, seemed very true to Shawn and Lassiter.

And “You ever hear of Stockholm Syndrome, Spencer?”
“No, what is that? The compulsive need to remain entirely neutral?” he asked.
“That’s Switzerland,” Lassiter snapped.
That was a LOL!

Thank you so much! And I'm so glad you caught the Mahone reference, I had a couple of friends that didn't know what I was talking about at all! ;-)
