What the heck is that second one coloured with. Markers. (urg! my question mark isn`t working on my laptop, it`s coming up with ... É whateverthefuck that`s supposed to be.

Anyhoo, I love them both! If that second one is marker or watercolour I WANT YOU TO POST A TUTORIAL for those of us who are marker and watercolour deficient. (and can`t spell)

Markers! Copic markers to be precise :D They are wonderful, their ability to blend so beautifully has saved my messy ass so many times. May I direct your attention to Bones' ear? Imagine a giant BLOB of brown ink dripping there. When I was done swearing, I was able to still work hints of the brown into his skin so it didn't look so very out of place.

THIS is a far more coherent and comprehensive tutorial than anything I could put together. Mine would be like - grab base coat - colour like mad. Swear cause it's messy. Grab shadow colour. Colour like mad. Swear. Grab midtone to soften transition. Colour like mad. Swear. Go over with base colour again to blend. Swear. Take outline marker, extend outline to hide how messy you are. Lather, rinse, repeat

Eee, these are wonderful! I love the Enterprise boxers, and their expressions in the second one. Jim doesn't seem to be in any pain whatsoever. *g*
