I have completed something for ship wars. Despite being deathly ill. Also, I have reunited with my watercolours after months of neglect.

Oh my gawd, that's so cute! And adorable! And a fic waiting to be written! And I'd name the dragon Nero and the ogre Ayel and .. and Jim's losing half his shirt like he always does during away missions and I bet the dragon ravaged the kingdom and killed the queen before Jim could get to him and .. and .. and the IDIC and the Starfleet emblem and .. and ..

I'm rambling. Just a bit. But it's hard to type when I have to keep scrolling up to stare some more, and how should my brain concentrate on one stringent line of thought when it's busy jumping from awesome to awesome in the pieces? How, I ask you? HOW!?

I bet that dragon also choked Jim. *nods sagely* And there was some sort of exile involved, after the prince was goaded into an emotional reaction. Just sayin'.

Whoo hoo! I got a double guh!! I feel special :) if you want to write the story of the arts, I would be honoured! Your version sounds like so much fun! I confess, when I was planning these out, my only real goal was the dead dragon andbattle scarred Jim XD the rest of the scenes just sort of built around that.
I'm glad you love it! I had fun doing it, especially since I've been so sick and frustrated with not getting to do anything creatively for these last couple of weeks. I finally sat down on Thursday night and said " screw being sick a d screw being busy! Imma gonna paint!"

Love the dragon, and the black knight hacked to pieces. XD And, actually, I'm a little bit in love with the trees in the background of the first one. For real. Do you know if they're seeing anybody right now?

LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the coat of arms with the IDIC and Starfleet symbols!! <3 And, of course, the tender reunion lurve. (I have to say, though, that I think fandom is poisoning my mind. I see that vine coming in through the window and my first thought is "OH NOES IT'S A TENTACLE RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN JIM!" Okay, so that's equal parts fandom and Japan.)

*grin* You know, one of the best things about ship wars for me has been getting to know your crazy ass :D

As far as I know the trees are single but you've got to be careful with arboreal attachments. They tend to take things at a glacial pace and you'll be ready to move forward and find that they can't commit to next level yet. Not out of malice or vindictiveness, per se, it's just their nature. XD I hear it can be quite heartbreaking.

I had the same thought about the vine/tentacle when I stepped back from the finished piece XD Consider it my hentai Easter egg (and the possible influence of the Lovecraftian sci-fi spy thriller I'm reading right now) *snicker*

I`m glad you liked them both. This was me when I finally produced. something creatively after too many weeks of too damned busy =D =D =D !!

The fairy tale exists only in my head. I had a mental checklist of fairy tale elements I wanted to include (a short one, really - 1-DRAGON 2-TOWER) and an unholy love for battered heroic Jim.

The scene just sort of went from there.
