Pan around. Bones, who is on the bridge to make a report about medical matters or attempt to drag Jim off for a physical or, you know, just to stand around with his arms folded looking grumpy, is now intently studying his newly-acquired tentacles, and musing whether it's unethical to dissect one's own body parts. Cupcake is freaking out. Two random ensigns are having a tentacle-slap-fight. Chekov is desperately trying to talk Sulu out of attempting all the new piloting manoeuvres of which he is now capable, since he can manipulate so many more controls simultaneously. Uhura is multitasking, switching between seventeen different comm calls from elsewhere on the ship trying to take reports and calm everyone down, but every now and then she loses concentration and one of her tentacles tries to fill the bridge with the rockin' sounds of Herman's Hermits. Jim is looking extremely shifty, as if he desperately wants to take this opportunity to perform special new obscene acts on himself, only he's not sure everyone else is quite distracted enough not to notice.
Spock is totally chill, just going about his duties. With tentacles. They are elegantly arranged around him like some elaborate headdress.
Oh, and the Klingons are about to attack.
Just another day on the Enterprise, really.
