Boredom's not a burden anyone should bear
OH HAI!
I'm actually not as far behind on nano as I thought! Only 900 words behind, so if tonight goes REALLY REALLY well, I might still be on track to write 50000 words this month.
I know, I know. I'm in shock too.
Last night was miserable failure, probably because I porn-xhausted myself on Saturday by parking my ass on starpanties' couch for 6 hours (ILU starpanties and your couch!!) to finish the fisting fic of doom. (Seriously. 5K of fisting. 5K. Hooooooow??)
But, last night, I got out maybe 400 words that I'm willing to keep, despite jaylee_g's best efforts to reassure me that I did not, in fact, fail at EVERYTHING, FOREVER. 200 on the glow-in-the-dark Scotty fic which is just getting weird and changing moods on me every time I blink and 200 on an attempt at dub-con Sherlock fic for brighteyed_jill. (hey, I wanted out of my comfort zone, right? Dub-con AND Sherlock, two things I've never written before. It's supposed to be hard. Right? Right??)
Today's lunch break was spent on downloading the various WIPs on gdocs to my iPad. I'm hoping something catches and I can get another story finished in the next couple of days. With janice_lester's 5 acts fic and the Fisting Opus out for beta, I'm thinking I may actually be able to start posting stories again. It's, ah, been a while.
