THE DEAD TREE GIVES NO SHELTER, MAN!

It's FRIDAY~!

I found my desk yesterday! It's brown! I thought it might be, but it's been months since the last time I saw it, so I was happy to see it hadn't really changed.

I have NOTHING that I NEED to do this weekend, which means I get to do things I want to do - like write fisting fic for hoosierbitch and figure out what the hell I'm doing with poor wee glow-in-the-dark Scotty for one_windiga's ficlet-which-is-somehow-becoming-fic and meet up with starpanties for arty awesomeness on Sunday. I'm hoping to work on my big bang piece and make Bones look slightly LESS worried about incipient bowel release and more like he's BAMF-ing up the place whilst fighting something. I CAN DO THIS! I have the power.

I'm in a strange headspace. Creative but lazy. I have SO MANY IDEAS--too many ideas, really--for projects. Most of them are in various stages of initiation, some of them are still concepts, but I can't really focus on any one thing long enough to make visible progress. I am hoping that this is a comedown from being too busy to think for too long and that when I finally take some breathing room, I'll level out.

Oh~! One of my projects is a Die Hard rec list :) I've got the bookmarks handy, now I just to need to organize and ramble. I may do it in stages - three to five at a time or something, because anything worth doing is worth overdoing and I've got A LOT of bookmarks XD I found this the other day and have watched it roughly a million times, but it's a good primer for anyone who was wondering just who that John McClane guy is, anyway :D

THIS IS MY NEW HAPPY PLACE :D

lol, maybe I could do weekly recs? Make every other Friday Die Hard Day until I run out of recs? IDK. Maybe alternate fandoms every week? Or mix it up in each post? Do I actually need a system or should I just do whatever? Save everything until just before the new movie is released and steal svmadelyn's 50 days of Steve/Tony format? WHO CAN SAY? (every time I type this, or say it, I'm always tempted to follow up with "or guess" and then the rest of "The Burial of the Dead" verse from The Wasteland. Seriously. EVERY TIME. Damn you, Eliooooooooot, I have enough tics)

i suck at commitment, writing??, sleep is for the weak, big bang, art, fandom love, life, oh damn - what was i thinking?, omg i can read!, whine, bruce willis is my totem animal, internets
