Rhyme was hunched over her current project, ignoring the sun beating down from the sky. For now, she'd taken shelter under one of the trees in Miyashita Park. Her hands were sweating a little as she worked.

The fifteen-year old looked down at the small pile of flowers next to her, picking out a particularly bright red flower to weave into her creation. There, now it was perfect! Rhyme smiled to herself and picked up the finished work to examine it closer.

It was a flower crown, woven together with pink, white, and red flowers. The crowning jewel was a vivid, red one. It was large and outshone all the others.

Sure...the crown itself probably wasn't the best put together, but it was loads better than the others she'd made (those had gone to Beat)! Now... she just needed to deliver this to it's intended recipient. That would be easy enough!

She just needed to find him.

Rhyme sighed, moving her backpack to gently tuck the flower crown inside it. Then she stood up and lifted it up onto her back and began walking toward the local arcade.

Oh...how to describe him? He had an air of disintrest about him, it actually reminded her of Neku (but just a little. He wasn't as bad). He liked to play games and that included playing games with people. In general, he was just fox-faced.

He was also...kinda a really huge jerk.

But Rhyme didn't really dislike him. There was just something about him that drew her in to him. He had the strangest presence that she'd ever felt...

Playing skee-ball with him was fun, too! Both Neku and Beat didn't really have time to play (and Neku liked making excuses as to why he couldn't play kiddie games). And sometimes hanging out with Shiki brought her down a little. Especially when she talked non-stop about her recent accomplishments. Don't get her wrong, Rhyme liked Shiki. She really did!

Sometimes it was just hard to watch people have what she never would...

Anyway, she got to practice her English when she spoke to him. She'd already gotten a lot better than she'd been before.
Arriving at the arcade, Rhyme looked around slowly. Where was he...? She began walking around, keeping an eye out.

He wasn't here, was he?

Rhyme sighed to herself and drooped a little, turning around and beginning to walk out. Well, that was a waste... Rhyme tightened her hand on the straps of her backpack and frowned. Where else could he be? He wasn't back at park, that was for certain. She would have seen him.

She let out a huff and crossed her arms. She would find him before the flowers wilted from the heat.

"Looking for someone, Raimu?"

Or he would find her.

Rhyme let out a small squeak and turned around quickly, spotting him. He was leaning against the wall of the building and grinning. How on earth did he manage to do that?

"There you are!" Rhyme exclaimed, looking releaved. "I've been looking for you everywhere! I've got a present for you."

"For me...?" He asked, the grin dropping off of his face. His eyebrows raised and he tilted his head. "What?"

Rhyme nodded her head and smiled widely. Taking her backpack off of her back, she swung it around and opened it to pull out the crown. She could hear him walking over to her. He was interested: good.

"Here!" Rhyme pulled the crown out and presented it to him. He froze and frowned deeper.

"What is it?"

"It's a crown," Rhyme giggled. She walked over and began to lean up on her tip-toes so she could put it on his head. He didn't move as she gently placed it there. "A flower one."

He was still standing there, looking at her strangely. "You are aware that I am, for all intents and purposes, a demon, right? I did tell you this?"

Rhyme grinned and covered her mouth with her hand, taking a few steps back to take in the whole image. He wasn't removing it, that was probably a good sign. "Yeah. You said that you were the King of all Darkness and stuff, right? So I figured I'd make you a crown to with that title."
Kuroro didn't say anything. He only reached up to adjust the crown gently.

kuroro, drabble, rhyme bito
