Started the weekend at Bone 70.4, mostly at a loss as to what to do. A KS30 on Friday night got me an Orichalcum Ingot (well, its 100% drop from Royale Ramble, so whatever), and that sold for nearly 200k. Farming on Saturday evening got me another 100k or so. I invested and came out at the end of tonight with 74.8, and leather to 5 (lol). That is pretty productive for a weekend. I'm avoiding coral as much as possible, cause the drop rate is terrible and its otherwise really expensive. I'm pushing my skill as much as possible (glasses and support) and instead have been doing higher 70s or low to mid 80s stuff. Ideally I'd want to avoid that, but the stuff in the 80s is mostly cheap to synth, so I can justify spending and losing materials for the greater good.
Did sea with Samsara today. We popped a Hope that died right as I logged in, it dropped a torque. We then headed for Justice, nothing good there. 2 Prudences dropped one torque. We then headed inside for some farming. My group went to Ix'DRG and the other went to JoTemperance, we were going to do more but time was against us. Ix'DRG and JoT popped very close to us leaving. DRG dropped Deed, and Temperance popped right when we were leaving, but still dropped a torque. Good day in sea, 3 torques.
We went to Einherjar after, but it ended badly. First off, someone brought a mule and came in and gave his mule a glass, and took the place of a sack. The sack got a bit high and mighty (this is the relic MNK who claims I need to be more versatile while he shows up to EVERY event as Monk), and said we were going to have to bring our A game because we were a melee short (uh, the other guy was a melee). We had a wave of scorpions and a wave of Imps, followed by the Dvergr boss, who spawns with 12 named Demons. The DEMONS need to be killed, as their death causes the actual boss to receive damage. Its weird, but whatever. We weren't prepared (need 9 people to kite the mobs), and they pretty much destroyed us. When we did, said sack made a silly comment, something along the lines of "I guess you guys needed me, that boss must have been tough", which was clearly meant to be sarcastic. The current leader sort of cut him down to size when she told him we did in fact get a really hard boss. "Oh..." I laughed.
Nothing else though. Sleep time, I have work soon.
