BAH!
I need better parties. WE need better parties. We get invites slowly, especially considering our jobs, but I think its mostly related to the fact that Caitsith has a lack of tanks at all levels, and there just aren't enough people seeking at any given time... and I think a lot of people tend to static with their linkshells. All of which are not cool.
So ultimately that means we're still stuck. Our tank DCed just now, so we're still not going to finish up today. Shannon is 3k to 74 and I'm about 20k to 75. If all goes well, I'll get that tomorrow, I can't see why not.
Its funny though. Back on Seraph, a friend of ours (who was the reason we actually left Seraph) was leveling Warrior. He was in his 60s when I really picked up Samurai (at level 11). I level reasonably fast, but still, he had a huge fucking jump on me. I did joke, however, that ultimately I'd pass him on yet ANOTHER job (he has been playing this game for at least 2 years more than me, and when I first met him, he was in his 50s and I eventually passed him and got my first 75 before him... and I have 3 more and another one right around the corner). Whats funny? I found out today that my joke ended up being reality. I passed him, he is level 73, and I'm 74. I laugh.
We did some Nyzul last night, our first floor 20. We did 2 boss runs, first we got turtle and askar feeties dropped. Only Krissy and I appear to want them, but I passed them to her because she benefits from them more on her PLD than I would on SAM. I want them eventually, but meh. We're going to do some more crap on Sunday, 4 runs hopefully.
I also just decided I really need usukane sune-ate. Badly. I need to really work on my 6-hit, but I want to have good gear to do it with :P Oh well, thats for another day. I need 75 before that... and sleep first.
