something I guess I didn't post..

I'm pretty sure I shared these with Skita though
but here is my recipe for triple chocolate cookies (which have been well received on fetlife, OddCon, my gaming group, and.. well.. anyone that eats them)
preheat oven to 375 degrees F
sift together
1 cup all-purpose non-bleached flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp cocoa powder (heaping)
1/2 tbsp ground cinnemon (or more to taste)
cream together until well blended
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 brown sugar
add
1 large egg
1/4 tsp of salt
1 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
beat until well combined and then slowly add the flour mixture and blend until smooth.
stir in
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips (or 1 cup.. me.. I go with 1 cup of each)
drop onto baking sheets in heeping teaspoonfuls (I use this little ice cream scoop thingie) about 2 inches apart and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. let stand for a couple of minutes then allow to finish cooling on wire racks.
during christmas I will also add nutmeg and clove (very nummy)
and I have been toying with a mocha version
I use the silicon mats for baking, I was leary of them at first but they completely rock.. I think the cheap-o set I have I picked up for 6 bucks and I wish I had picked up a couple more sets
