I call major 'bullshit' on that planet being Earth
how many times did they find small enclaves of humanity in the original series ( I know.. they are using very little from the original series.. but.. its still a starting off point)
hell.. there was one planet they found that they hailed as Earth.. stopped a nuclear war and were prepared to settle till the beings in white told them that 'no, that was not Earth.. ' that Earth was still out there
Starbuck can still fulfill her prophecy of bringing doom and death to the fleet..with so many believing that there is no hope and breaking.. there will be mass suicides
Dee will not be the first (though.. she was quite a shocker to see go)
it was heartwarming to see Apollo and Dee start to work things out again..

with small steps towards reconciliation..
but I suppose the thought that Earth was simply the remenants of a cylon colony was too much for her

Ellens last words 'do not worry, it will be ok.. we shall be born again.. its all arranged' (or.. well.. something like that) harkened to the fact that what they were on.. was not Earth
they keep saying again and again..this has all happened before and it shall happen again..
what if the planet they were on was attacked and destroyed by humans in fear of an attack by the cylon colony?
what if it was retribution..
what if the cylon colony had been at war with the Earth..
what if it was further infighting as happened among the seven?
some division that splintered them so severly that it ended in a holocaust..
in the flashbacks..
there were no signs of fear
no signs of aggresion..
no signs that anything was missing as would happen in a major war.. much like when the cylons nuked the 12 colonies..
so that would make it either a suprise attack.. (like the attack on the colonies)
or an all out holocaust.. (as happened when the alliance attacked the hub)
I have no doubt now.. that this was not Earth
I had had meager suspicions of that before..
the show is bleak.. yes.. but always there is the grain of hope.. of redemption..
no matter how awful a character is..
they still show a glimmer of humanity (even among the cylons.. well.. the breakaway cylons that is)
even Starbuck finally made me not want to vomit on sight when she paid Cats picture a visit..
a sign that she knew she had frakked that up and that Cats death was her fault
but how could Starbuck find her corpse and NOT be a cylon?
what caused Leoban to be so afraid of her?
bah.. bah, I say.. it was an awesome episode.. brimming with that which has made this series great and yearning for more

ok.. so.. its been about.. ummm.. 36.. 37 hrs since I really slept so I am off to bed
when 8pm rolled around, my eyes grew heavy.. and I almost nodded off..
when 8 30 rolled around.. I almost dozed..
at 8 58 pm.. I was wide frakking awake and was glad of it..
now..its almost 11 (guess I should tack on a couple more hours to my total)
