Hmm... interesting point about the game being too easy. I started off in hardcore to begin with, since I was fairly experienced with ME1. I don't find it particularly easy (though not particularly hard either - particularly compared with DA:O), but that may be why. A lot of that may also have to do with the fact that the game practically autosaves everytime you go to the bathroom.

As for ME1 characters I noticed that what you did with them or said to them in the first game didn't seem to have much an impact. Sure, there was development in the characters, but it seemed completely unrelated to your interactions with them.

Haven't really done any of the roms substantially yet, though (as I'm sure you could tell) I'm gunning pretty heavily in Tali's direction. Which surprises me.

And I'd never heard about the renegade eyes of doom bit. That sucks. I did know that Chakwas said something handwavey about your scars going away if you were good and all that but I didn't know it went as far as KotOR or Fable.

Anyhow, I expect to be pretty satisfied with the game by the time I'm through with it.
