Late Night Ramblings
Things have been pretty uneventful here lately and i think i'm on with that. Metal Friday went pretty well until the cops stopped in around 11:45 and shut us down. =*( Oh well it was fun while it lasted and we ended up with alot more stuff than we started with so i have to say that all in all we won.
One of the highlights of last weekend was having a chance to hangout with Nikki Phelps! She drove down from Lex on friday afternoon to hangout with andrew and some other ppl and then stopped by the party and what not. It's kinda weird to see somebody after only hearing from them here and there over the course of about 3 years or so. Anyhow, she's doing well and we got a few drunkin pics together before the bust went down so goods times were had with her.
Ummm nothing really important to say now guess this is where the rambling starts. LOL, there is just something about listening to Damien Rice and various acoustic stuff after a nice long thunderstorm that just makes me want to go on and on about alot of nothing. I think what's really on my mind right now is how lucky i am to have all the friends that i do. I can't even image what life would be like if i hadn't come to WKU i've met so many awesome ppl and had so many good times here. I remember late night drives to horse cave and parties in dorm rooms my freshman year. Then the next year my huge group from freshman year split up and i did the frisbee thing most of the year which was cool. Got to travel alot and just chillin with the frisbee guys and those are some great memories not to mention all the sarah hardcore parties that went on that year. Last year was aight i guess, there was alot of self inflicted drama first semester but then i got over it and somewhere along the way grew up just a lil bit. I hated the whole situation while it was happening but now i'm kinda glad that it did just so i can look back at it and see that i made it out more or less in one piece and learned a little something along the way. I think the highlight of last year was the weekend that i spent in Lexington catching up with old friends and making new ones. It was great to see jade, jon, lora, ashley and sarah G again and the parties were awesome too!! Went to my first hourse race and just enjoyed myself and it felt wonderful. This year things have gone pretty well. I'm still recovering from some kinda strange relationship situations but for the most part i think/hope that things can be worked out. Ummm i think that's it
