the click of consciousness
Teaching art theory you see some strange things. Like today I noticed that there was an audible 'click' as the cogs started turning in the students' heads the moment I revealed an image for dissection.
As I understand it, consciousness stands both within and without; in our bodies and beyond. But the mind operation, the widing of the eyes, the zoning of the gaze, these are all things that read me back to myself.
At least that's over.
