I'm a notorious name on the purchase suggestions list for the Arts librarian. In the last year and a half I must have ordered close to $3k worth of books and dvds, and still they leave me to order away as I see fit

You know, I was at a long boozy dinner recently where a toast was proposed to the Dewey decimal system.

Strangely enough two of the participants at said event included a social worker specialising in forensic mental health and a librarian. Given that it was hard to tell which was which (primarily because the social worker proposed the toast and the librarian was homicidal) I may well know of the perfect replacement for the position…
