Some days ago, I was cleaning my living room and found that Switch (roommate's little dog) had peed on a stuffed kitten toy of Björk's(my cat). I threw it away and forgot about it...until today.
I made this vegan cake, but I think I used too much applesauce or something, because it was all gooey and gross. Anyway, I decided it needed to make friends with Mr. Trashcan. There were some items already in the can, so to make room, I used a hand to push down the existing garbage.
That's when I heard a loud "Meeooww! Meeooww!" and I was all, 'WTF?' I looked around the kitchen and didn't see any weird cats in there, so I shook my head and pushed on the garbage again.
Of course the noise came again. "Meeooww! Meeooww!" Björk entered the kitchen and had on the same 'WTF?' face that I was sporting. She seemed curious, but you can never tell with cats. I wondered briefly if she'd recently learned how to throw her voice. Björk started sniffing the trashcan, and that's when it hit me!
I lifted up some of the trash and uncovered that damed cat toy! I'd forgotten it meows when you press on it's belly. Björk laughed at my stupidity.
In other news:
-I changed stores and it's lame. I could complain for hours, but that won't help. I'll just say one thing: Yesterday was shitty. Some mean customer made me so upset, I cried in the bathroom stall for 15 mins. And then that night, my new manager made me stay until 11pm, checking up front, when I was supposed to go home at 6pm and only do produce. And because I suddenly had to leave so late, I had to walk home in the freezing dark, with no jacket. :*(
-I'm starting my 1 week vacation tomorrow. All the fun things I'll be doing on my vacation week: Changing my CA drivers licence to a WA one, buying a car/insurance, going to doctors/dentists appointments, sitting at home while men clean my carpets(not in a dirty way), going to college orientation, and washing my cat. (I said "cat" not the other word...I'm NOT dirty!)
-That Dutch show, GTST just had their 4000th episode, and it was AMAZING! What a well put together show. I loved everything about it...especially scared Noud and loving Lucas and evil nurse Marco. ;P Take note, VL.
