AH I LOVE KIDA'S CHARACTER DESIGN. Wanna draw him so badly ;___; Is there any way to pair up Izaya and Kida that isn't creepy and/or pedo? Because it would make loving the both of them so much easier if I could just...love them...together. But Kida/Mikado is too cute to break up. But but...GODDAMN. Also, I am pretty sure that having S/S as one of Baby's Very First Pairings was uh, formative in this respect. >.>
(But yeah, I admit to drinking the Izaya/Shizuo kool aid. This annoys me, because I almost NEVER subscribe to the "if they want each other dead they must end up in bed" school of shipping but uh
it's kinda hot okay)

I...am not sold on Shizuo as a character. I definitely see the appeal of Shizaya, since they remind me of 6918, but I liked 6918 in spite of Hibari and the same thing might need to happen with Shizaya.

Yeah, I have (mostly) avoided the novel spoilers, but my impression is that there is more backstory to be had on Shizuo and Izaya both, so I tentatively support that ship until I find out more~ (If nothing else, it is kind of hot what can I say)
But yeah, I tend to gravitate toward either super messed-up relationships or super fluffy relationships. WE NEED NO MIDDLE GROUND HERE.

Me neither, until I finished watching episode 7 a few minutes ago. Shizuo's a massive woobie (with anger management issues), and him together with Celty is super-duper-adorable. :3
Celty is doubly adorable. Oh god, I can't stop smiling at this show's characters. :3

Also, still not COMPLETELY sold on Shizaya. WE'LL SEE. Not sure if it's actually the PAIRING or the bandwagon-ness that's turning me off =\
