This morning I woke up to a crying girl on the other end of the telephone line and I realized it was her birthday. I was wondering why on earth would she be calling me on a school day and be crying? then she told me the shocking news that my fellow teammate/friend had been killed in a car accident and I was speachless. I woke up this morning, half wanting to believe Kyle was still alive...but he wasn't. The article in the paper only added to that realization...
I barely knew him- brief words on the phone when calling Josh- but I know how much he meant to Josh- anyone could tell, the way Josh's eyes light up when he speaks of Kyle...
I'll always remember him as a funny kid who was always smiling his goofy, cheerful grin, dancing to New Kids on the Block...
Another death hitting close to home...
Why is it surrounding us....
and as sick as it sounds...it makes you wonder who could be next I guess...
I cried so much Friday while I drove home from getting my license, and I don't know why...
I wish everything would just stay the same

eliza, god works in mysterious ways babe, and i guess it was kyle's time to join him in heaven, eventhough i didn't want him to go either. he will be remembered as the kid who always made me smile as well. tell josh my condolences and that i miss him playing basketball with him ok? it will be tough to get through but we can all do it in due time. this is an unfortunate thing to happen but it does. miss ya, love you.
