Yawn. Have to go to Penn. this weekend, even though I really don't want to. I just know something will happen that will upset me, it always happens. Perhaps I'll try to download a couple movies real fast and put them on my iPod. Darkness came in the mail the other day. Didn't play too far into it, but wow, I really like it so far. It screams style and badassitude. The game opens up with an awesome carchase scene in a tunnel. And the scene where the Darkness powers first come out = <3 <3 <3. I'll play it some more when I feel like it, I didn't get around to it today for whatever reason.
There's so much high praise going around for Transformers. It's just giving me this huge urge to see it and be "Ahah, I knew the script would suck!" or be surprised like "Wow, kudos to you, Michael Bay." Curiosity is getting the best of me. I don't doubt that the big robots beating each other up is awesome and all that, but from the trailer I just hear the dialogue and want to cringe. Same with Live Free or Die Hard, that's been getting a lot of praise too. But out of those two, I'd rather judge Transformers. 1409 has been getting good word as well, but I actually want to see that movie, hrm..
Back-tracking to Die Hard a bit, Kevin Smith was praised as well for his minor role in the flick, but focusing more-so on Kevin Smith, Joel Seigel died the other day. Joel was a famous tv movie critic that walked out in the middle of a screening of Clerks 2 because it was too crude, and there was a big spiel about it between Kevin and Joel on the radio [whereas Joel didn't realize he was actually talking to Kevin]. I think I blogged about that when it happened about a year ago, accompanied with the .mp3 of the radio broadcast. But Kevin did the right thing and gave his condolences and whatnot; I don't know why I'm mentioning this, but it was on my train of thought. And Kevin blogged about it on his myspace page, accompanied with quotes from some asshole on some Hollywood forum that was calling out Kevin about not blogging Joel's death right after. Some people just amaze me.
I have the up-most craving for a hamburger right now, and I don't know why. And I don't care if it's from a good restaurant or any fast food place..I have nothing to do, I listened to a bunch of Ayreon today..and now I guess I'll just browse 4-chon until I fall asleep, since I'm really tired.
