a definite upswing
the past few days have a marked upswing for me both in mood and the way my life is going. on Sunday I decided that what ever is going to happen will happen, and that I can only do so much; I made the conscious decision to be in a better mood. and so then I went bowling and that night turned out to be wacky crazy wild fun (will post on that later, really!). then Monday was chill, and yesterday, my phone rang.
I didn't hear it, but that's what voicemail is for. The POC finally called me; they've had mad crazy things happening. I still think it was a bit unprofessional not to have called me sooner but I'm just thrilled she called. they want me to work the rehearsal shoot next week; and then the actual shoot which starts the very beginning of January right after the holiday hiatus. not really sure what day I'll be starting after hiatus, sometime between the 3-10 (office re-opens the 3rd; shooting starts the 10th). guess it depends on what they want me to be doing for the shoot.
for the rehearsal shoot, I'm going to be catering PA getting lunch for the crew every day. and after lunch, I'll be the only on-set PA. never done it so that'll be interesting. and being the only PA will be crazy too; but a great learning experience b/c I'll be running around helping all the different departments.
so among other things, I'm totally psyched. there's going to be a meeting tomorrow but I don't know when yet. Sarah said she'd call when she knows the time, etc. so yet more waiting...
but that's OK because now I know what's going on, so I can deal :)
