Ech0 and IKEA

Jan 28, 2007 00:35

Today I helped my friend, whom many of you know as Ech0, fix up his living space. Several other friends accompanied us to IKEA in Canton, mainly to check the place out and help move the purchased furniture. My personal opinion of IKEA was that much of what they sold was overpriced for the quality one received, and I felt that I could probably find better deals elsewhere. I did, however spot some deals and bought a set of six martini glasses and a package of wooden coat hangers for my closet. Total cost: $15.

We then spent quite a bit of time back at Ech0's un-boxing, assembling and moving the furniture into his space, which he calls "the bunker." We also spent more time dealing with unnecessary drama from one of his friend's girlfriends. I won't go into it here; suffice to say it was immature and annoying.

Anyway, Ech0 now has a very nice futon, TV entertainment stand and several new chairs in his "bunker," as well as a new wireless router. He seems quite pleased with the setup.

I, however, am exhausted and hitting the hay for some well-deserved rest after posting this.
