Today, we take a look at the opposite end of the ZX Spectrum from yesterday's demo. Power Up from 1997 probably represents the farthest extremes of capabilities that the 128k ZX Spectrum had to offer. Part of this demo even does 3-D graphics, albeit in monochrome. This demo has the demo hacker attitude in spades, and the technical chops to back it up. I really get the impression that the ZX Spectrum it played on was ready for some rest after it finished crunching all those graphics and the math behind them.
