It's
crap like this which convinces me that I need to start using a flying box on the few occasions which I need to travel by air.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the concept, a flying box is a box of supplies shipped ahead of the traveler to a known point of pickup, in advance of their arrival there. I know that long-range cyclists, backpackers and similar types have used this resupply strategy for years without problems. It's really a shame that I now have to start thinking about this for air travel.
The irony is that it's very likely my flying box will actually be traveling by air when its being shipped.
