New Rules from TSA regarding Li-Ion batteries

It's crap like this which convinces me that I need to start using a flying box on the few occasions which I need to travel by air.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the concept, a flying box is a box of supplies shipped ahead of the traveler to a known point of pickup, in advance of their arrival there. I know that long-range cyclists, backpackers and similar types have used this resupply strategy for years without problems. It's really a shame that I now have to start thinking about this for air travel.

The irony is that it's very likely my flying box will actually be traveling by air when its being shipped.

hacking, tsa weirdness, flying box
