I haven't been updating LJ as much as Xanga so I'll just post this because it's the most recent ;)
Classes aren't that bad
Okay, Fitness Walking isn't that bad. It wakes me up in the morning. And this girl sat next to me and started talking to me before class so at least I have one person that's not like *gasp* she has short half-rainbow-colored hair, she must be (fill in the blank). BUT I am still disliking how it deters my time away from German. Right after PE ended I was first to grab my bookbag and nearly ran out of the gym and onto my bike to fly to North Quad. It took me 4 minutes to get from PE to German :) I have no idea what it's going to be like in the Winter :( I just need to get PE and German out of the way. Last semester I had dropped out of Swimnastics because I didn't have a swimsuit, I thought it was very stupid, it took time away from my sleeping (I knew I would be staying up late for comp art and foundation), and it took away my prep time for Foundation2. I am determined to make this PE class work. Also I am determined to pass German so I can wreap the 9 credit hours from it! I'm going to be pushing myself so hard taking 17 credit hours :) Good thing I dont have a boyfriend, lol. -- although I am flattered when I get vibes from people that they like me. I have time to find my man. Right now it's school school school and creating/holding friendships.
Hehe, I love my Visual Communication class. Alana, Beth, Val, and I sit together in our "Pod" as our professor, Fred, calls them. (really funny guy, ALL of my teachers are very funny - probably not Mythology). Alana had asked me something about **** I responded and she was like "haha, that's such a typical Mel response" I love it how we already know each other so well. It's really great to be with them. Fred was saying how we will be with our "pod-mates" for the next 3 years, maybe even the rest of your life. So far I'm really loving that class.
So I believe my short-term depression is over. For right now I belong here. It still feels weird but this is where I am now and I'm going to just have to get used to it. Oh... I think it's also talking to Nathan sometimes.
Long entry but meh, whatever.

I've heard about 2 people getting hit by cars... and I've seen 2 people who got hit by cars. What is up with that? Fuck. The poor girl who was in high-heels and carrying a instrument case had to be sent away by ambulance. That was yesterday. Today I walked out of AJ and saw a bunch of police cars and an ambulience near this kid who had a bike and was clutching his bloody head. WTF Muncie people drive like crazy, Locals and College Kids. It's sometimes very scary to drive in Muncie.
I know I nearly got hit twice when I was on my bike... by cars making left turns. It was partially my fault, but still, pedestrians/bikers have the right of way. It's hard to manuvour around pedestrians and also look out for cars, two different line of sights.
