Good Day at Work 2

Aww, my manager Kris is going back to the Castleton SnS. He was the one who initially hired me. I always love all the conversations we have. Especially if Neal is with us. The three of us have the most awesome conversations :) Tonight it was about music and a few other things. A lot of the times it is about history... like who were the Celtic people before they were Celtic (he has red hair but of no Irish blood). Before I left (1:30ish  am) he told me that I had improved so much since last year. It's just, oh it's so amazing to hear that from him because he's a pretty particular person or at least appears on the outside. (Lisa doesn't quite like him... but being a Taber I'm used to his personality *sigh*). He told me he mentioned my improvements to Tony and he agreed. That's just how I am, I am not very good at the beginning but then I get into it and finally find my groove. That's what happened with colorguard.... and probably art too.

So I really am not having good luck with large tables *sigh* I had a table that tipped me in just under 15% (11 people)... and then I took another large (8 people) who forgot to tip me. They were inebriated off of the fumes of the Mötley Crüe concert they came from. *sigh* the guy was even having a large problem with counting the $64.80 total... dude, just give me another dollar so I can give you 20 cents. eh, whatever. Man I was tired and ready to go home, enough of these large table crap. Kris gave me $4 from his credit tips (because managers get wages and so they dont need tips) and Neal had me take this guy who flirted with me nicely. From him I got a few artist names and.... almost a $14 tip for $6 total :) I love working with Neal.

Working with Neal, we always talk about random stuff (more than Kris). One time we talked about Dr. Seuss books -- The Sneetches. Tonight we talked about relationship because the table of 11 triggered what had happened last Saturday. He told me how he wanted to propose to his girlfriend: go to Florida to get the ring she wanted and propose on a hot-air balloon over the ocean (okay, say it with me, awwwww) If only he had the extra $4,000. lol

Oh and woot for getting a B+ in Hist 150. --I am usually not very good in History :)

(God, how I'm happy for these distractions)
