The One with The Email from My Lecturer

My Lesson No. 7 onwards will be taken over by another lecturer.
This fellow is another joker and I love his tutorial lesson back then in IE days...
Even before he started, he send out this email to us...

Dear All,

For the forthcoming Lesson 7 it is very important that you have access to an electronic pocket calculator, moreover one that is ofsufficiently recent manufacture that it possesses an "ANS" button. We will be using it to perform iterations, and will need it for some of the later lessons as well. Please could you all email me to confirmwhether or not you will be bringing such a pocket calculator with you to the lesson. I do have several such pocket calculators that I could bring from NIE if you really do not have one, but it would be tremendously convenient if as many of you as possible could bring your own. If you do not possess one, or if your current pocket calculator is so old that it does not have an "ANS" button, and are thinking of buying one I would strongly suggest that you purchase a Sharp and not a Casio. In fact, even if you currently possess a suitable Casio calculator I would strongly suggest that you purchase a brand new Sharp calculator anyway, if only so that you can experience the difference for yourself.

Sincerely,Paul Shutler
