He's got some leverage since he's a priest, or what they recognize as one. [Since Cross is a gambler, womanizer, and boozer.]

I don't think they're going to kill him, they probably caught some of us before in the past. Allen never mentioned them killing anyone.

He's a soldier in his world even as young as he is, he knew it was something that could happen.

[He knows Lavi is right. All soldiers go into battle knowing anything can happen. And yet... Kiriko can't stop worrying. Yukio had been hit hard by the loss of his brother, and now this.]

...Maybe.
