Summary: Reunions of blades and masters
Espedon hurried up the stairwell. Two flights of stairs was not a problem; the problem was not tripping over himself in the attempt to get to the room faster. Both of his hands were occupied, one with the black-scabbarded sword that Libitina had seen fit to replace the Seventh with and the other with the PDA. While he'd attained some small control over the English language, he hadn't yet started on Japanese, so the little device would still have to be his crutch.
Arriving at the door, he slowed and gave himself a moment. The ninja, no doubt, had a clue he was outside the door, as he'd done little to quiet his footsteps, but taking the time not to appear either desperate or disheveled (which seemed to be happened more and more these days) couldn't hurt.
Then, he reached up, and knocked on the door.
