Lavi wasn't out moping and brooding for once, he had no energy for it. Not when so many people had started disappearing right underneath their noses and there wasn't a damn thing they could do about it. Allen leaving had been a difficult blow, they had after all just finished up recording the welcome video that they were to be handing out when they got newbies. But Lavi just kept watching it on repeat, playing it over and over again on his own personal device instead of sharing Allen's last few carefree moments here. Home was going to be hell on the younger teen that he had come to consider his younger brother ( ... )

Well, that's probably both good and bad thing. They're all emotionally worn, that much is and has been obvious for a while. When you're an Exorcist, though, and you're used to being able to do something or have an immediate distraction, and now you can't? It brings those unwanted feelings with no outlit. Too bad there isn't any Akuma around for them to do that to. A shitty thing to ask for, with the proverbaly black cloud raining over the population, but. Fuck he just wants something that isn't inanimate to hurt without consequence ( ... )

There weren't even masses and masses of books that Lavi could go through and hide in to ignore the things that hurt so badly. Perhaps they both should go out hunting for bear and take them down with their bare hands like Alma did. Or see if Tyki would at least fight them, the redhead dare not spar against the recent Noah addition to their "little family". But then again that would have consequences in itself they didn't want to deal with ( ... )

Not even at the library? At the school? There had to be a lot of books somewhere, even for Nesreca. And Kanda wouldn't mind hunting. Hell, ask him and he'd probably go into a dangerous animal's den just to have some tiny semblance of home right now. Kanda would rather stay away from Rhode, yes. It didn't end well with the last one that was here, and he counts himself lucky that he had his healing back then. He probably wouldn't have lived if he didn't ( ... )
