Summary: Rhode has played nice for a very long time. Kanda has taken advantage of her truce with Allen Walker. So she has finally decided that enough is enough -- and it's time for a lesson.

Only then did he turn around. The candles caught him, mostly, cause him to stumble back from the force and drop Mugen. He didn't waste any time before moving to pull the candles out of him, and the pain was obvious in his voice when he spoke.
"Very funny." Kanda gave a soft hiss, wincing. He couldn't see where Rhode was, and, hell, he couldn't even see where he had dropped Mugen. Not really.
...This was going to be fun.

"You should be grateful~♪"
Rhode stepped forward, throwing another candle at Kanda, aimed for his right arm, her golden eyes glinting furiously in the rain.
"I was playing nice♪ this entire time -- because Allen asked me to. And he's going to be so~♪ mad~♪ that his friend was stupid enough to throw away his life for nothing~♥"
Her shoes squelched in the mud as she stepped forward, tipping her umbrella backwards slightly to get a better look at Kanda, her snarl marring her features into something ugly.
"He's the only one who doesn't watch me, you know. He doesn't check on me. He doesn't chase after me and open doors to make sure I'm not there -- and he doesn't tell me to watch my backAnd Rhode raised her hand, her snarl transforming into a wicked smile, holding the pointed edge of the ( ... )

He had to stop, though, at the candle at his throat. A gloved hand reached up to cover his bleeding arm, but otherwise stood there. His eyes scanned through the fog carefully, trying to see past the veil that Rhode was using for her cover.
He still didn't say anything.

"What are you going to do, Kanda~? ♥" Rhode jeered, a shadow in the fog as she slipped further away, but the candle remained hovering at his throat. "Kill me?"
