Ritsuka had taken a seat on a run down and rusty swing, gripping the chain absently and concentrating on calling out to Soubi. He remembered how foolish he'd felt the first few times he'd been taught this technique, thinking loudly at him, and trying to keep his mind focused, sure it wasn't working, and somehow it did. Soubi would hear him, and find him, and had never once failed him. Soubi couldn't fail him. And so Ritsuka was fairly calm, despite the circumstances. Soubi would make things right again.

His eyes slid open, catching sight of his Fighter, and at once he straightened, ears perked and tail jumping, stepping off the swing and into a full run towards his Soubi, and he practically threw himself upon him, hugging him tightly.

Soubi caught Ritsuka, taking several steps back to keep from falling over and crushing his book bag and computer bag. The blonde happily hugged his fighter back, tail continuing it's pleased side to side sweeping. His fingers curled up into the black hair and ran through it, petting softly as the other arm held Ritsuka close around the waist.

"Are you injured? Do you remember how you got here?"

"I'm fine," he said absently, resting his forehead against Soubi and smiling softly, fingers twisting through his Fighter's long hair. "I don't remember anything, I just...was there...by the river. I didn't know you'd come too or I would have stayed. Are you okay?" he asked, looking him over with concern.

"I am fine," Soubi replied, loosening his hold on Ritsuka but not letting go. His lips finding the shorter boy's forehead and pressing a soft kiss there.
"You wouldn't have had any problems finding me if you had written your name on me already," he continued in a chiding tone. "I opened the door to the gym from the locker room and found myself here. When I turned around, the door, the school, everything was gone. And the... pocket internet thing was in my hand. I checked my cell phone, and it works, but it's getting no bars. You?"

"No," he repeated for the ten-millionth time, a briefly stern pout clouding his features, "I'm not hurting you, you can't sugar coat it into a good thing, it's still hurting you and I won't do it."

His ears had flattened in a shy manner at the kiss, and slowly perked again as Soubi explained how they had gotten here. "I was talking to Sensi, and then when I left I was here. I assumed I'd missed something, or that it was a strange spell battle, but I couldn't find you." He glanced down at his own cellphone, hanging from a strap round his neck and shook his head, "No reception, but I figured out this thing enough to type."

Soubi frowned just past the point of where it would turn into a pout at Ritsuka's stubbornness on the name issue. But allowed it to slide for the moment because they really did need to figure out what was going on.

"If it was a spell battle, I felt nothing before hand. No pressure or presence of another before the change in location. I did figure out how to use the voice function and before I got the alert for your text, I spotted a video option. The only thing I can think of is some sort of training, but this idiot that responded to my radio call said something about not being in our world anymore. I think he's delusional... but it could be we're in some sort of illusion."

Ritsuka frowned, "Someone told me the same. He was rude," he added, tail flaring slightly, "And no one seems to have heard of Seven Moons. I'm confused Soubi," he said at last, tail drooping, "What are we supposed to learn from this?"

Soubi's ears flattened at the statement. It was probably the same guy, too.

The blonde gave a small shrug, "Your guess is as good as mine. I've never heard of any training remotely like this. First thing we should do, though, is find a place we can make a secure camp at before we go exploring. We were set down on this side of the river, with the ruined buildings, not the side with the nice ones. So I think our training is supposed to happen here. It could be crossing the river is a sign of forfeit, so until we can figure out otherwise or are sent instructions, I think it best we not cross. I don't want fail this just because we took a step too far."

Ritsuka nodded in agreement. "I think so too. Maybe...Ritsu was supposed to tell us but didn't. But we'll get top marks anyways, even if we don't know what we're supposed to do. I just...hope we're not here too long. I'm worried aout what my mother will do when I don't come home."

"Your mother will be fine," Soubi replied, lying through his teeth. "She deals with you being gone all day at school, she'll probably just think school went longer than usual or she lost track of time when you do get back ( ... )

Ritsuka nodded, but his frown deepened. She wasn't handling his going to school all that well these days. He'd taken to hiding her pills from her.

"It could be," he agree, "But why does no one seem to know what a spell battle is, or about Seven Moons or anything? I guess...that could be part of the test though."

"Where do you think we are?" he asked, standing on his toes to watch Soubi sketch, looking about with a frown, "Are we really in another world? It looks like no one has lived here in ages. Except those people replied to us, so they must be hiding somewhere."

His stomach growled at the mention of food, ears drooping. That added a whole new level of difficulty.

Soubi shook his head, "I don't know if we are or not, Ritsuka. I think we should assume its a test until we get more evidence otherwise. The Seven Moons have done strange things before. As for where we are... I don't know. But I don't think it's japan. What buildings I have seen look more like those found in American movies. They're too spread out ( ... )

Ritsuka's eyes followed the blood trail with an uncomfortable look, and he glanced down at the device they'd arrived with. "...I could just as easily be human blood," he pointed out, "This place seems dangerous, I'm not sure we should follow the blood trail. Even if it is animals...some of the people I spoke with didn't seem very friendly. I don't think they'd want us there."

He pushed a few buttons, hesitating before adding, "One of them told me Loveless lived at 202. I'm not sure what that means or if we can trust them but...it seems safer some how then following streaks of blood...I think," he offered.

Soubi nodded, "So where is 202?"

Ritsuka's ears drooped slightly, "I'm not...sure. That's the problem. She said it was where the others were...and our name was on the door. But that's all I know. And it might not be safe either. Maybe we should just do what you said, I'm not...sure."

This was all very confusing. It was hard to give orders in such a foreign situation, especially one where he felt Soubi knew so much more than him.
