Happy Thanksgiving!
Well I certainly have a lot to be thankful for.
Been very busy lately, hardly had any time to relax:
It all started last Thursday at Rock Band night. Not much doing, just the Shaven Philosophers in effect. Unfortunately no one brought their A game and we weren't too successful.
Friday went to Michaels with Erin & Terry to get thanksgiving craft supplies. I forgot how expensive Michaels is!!!!! Got some fairly decent stuff plus some papers and a new tote for my other hobby... Went home to do homework (sucks having assignments due Saturdays at 4:00).
Saturday went to my cousin Cindy's for the day. Partaked in much fun-ness. Saw m&d&b. Met up with Katie & Laura for a 3 musketeers night. Went to Original Joes (boring but good food) and to a movie. The three of us definitely have the best taste in movies. Next stop, Beverly Hills Chihuawa! Oh forgot to mention Abby got groomed to perfection!
Sunday met up with Andy & Cynthia who we hadn't hung out with in forever. Ate pasta and saw a boring movie. Did chores. Still a good day!
Monday back to daily drudgery plus craft night w/ my favorite ladies at the beef noodle soup house. Made some excellent thanksgiving crafts such as a paper bag turkey. Burnt my finger on the glue gun and it hurt sooooo bad. Made the meal plan for Orphan Thanksgiving.
Tuesday more drudgery. Plus extra drudgery of working late. Luckily it was a fun night and I got two free meals that day.
Wednesday went to (oh my god!) a show. Bane was sweet, didn't care for the other bands too much but some were ok.
Thursday Rock band! Couldn't hear a word of Greys (jerks) but had some fun with the usuals. I had been practicing (squeezing it in between work and activities) and I think we definitely brought our A game this week.
Friday date night w/ Terry. Saw Nick & Norah. Pretty meh overall. Michael Cera was looking fine though! Should be doing homework now for tomorrows 4:00 deadline but hey I have 18 hours still.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving 1
Sunday is Thanksgiving 2
Can't wait to eat some tofurky and enjoy the fruits of our crafting labours! Only 9 more days until Mexico!
