Hush my darling and smile
And silence your tears all the while
For everything fluttered away as time and tide
Whisper to you for a dream anew
A kindred voice in a sea of names
Begging a blank face for identity
Yet always benign of our forgiving clarity
Suggestion of your truth and the lies you lead
For all hope fleeting, all drama encased
And all your soul is lost
Now that you've gone away
