longing to get out
So it had been a whiile since we've been out to dinner with other people. so we went out and did some shopping. i bought some rocks and beads for a necklace. some gifts for people whos b-days are coming up. It gets expensive... but I like seeing the kids faces. cant help it. we got our federal returns and had to splurge a bit.
i'm making part of my faire outfit. going viking. plain but i dont want to go corsety... I'm all about the comfort. but now everyone else will be dressed nice so I found something I'd like too so I'll try doing to dress up thingy too. now to find a sewing machine for use.... and a nice chemise... not white.... perfer green black or blue, which is why it has been so difficult to find one hahaha. I guess I figure if i start building an outfit now maybe by fall when we go visit julie and chris I'll have an almost complete outfit. I miss friends alot so making something to wear for that time makes me feel like that time is closer and will be here sooner, even though it is eight months ish away. I dunno, I hope I dont look stupid. I guess that is why I never wore garb perviously. I didnt want to look like I was pretending to fit in. I never do fit in quite right and I guess that is why I chose the none traditional outfit, because I wont fit it, but I will because no one fits in. so all in all I just cant wait to go to the faire. last years NH one sucked but we;ll probably go to that one again too hahaha. maybe I'll look in to the Mass one. i dunno. I need ice cream....
