The Pumpkin King is coming

Sep 16, 2007 11:02

Let me start off by saying this is my absolute FAVORITE time of year.  mmm....pumpkin bread.

I start Spanish 3 on Tuesday night.  It's only a 6 week course but the professor is amazing...she barely speaks a single word of English in the class.....it's all conversational.  No memorizing stupid lists of words or any of that crap the last time I took Spanish in highschool/college.  I need to review all my notes from her SPA 1 & SPA 2 classes from the spring...I don't remember that much and her other class got cancelled in the summer due to low enrollment.  It's all out of my head at this point.  Yay for classes that work pays for.

My hair is driving me crazy.  I don't know if I want to chop it all off again like I did last April.  (It grew back really fast.)  It's back to the same length as in this icon pic.  I had gotten it cut to chin length because of all the black dye/dead ends/damage.  Now I want it blondish and cut, but not sure how short.  A week later, I'll want to be red again, watch.  I'm so indecisive.

Most exciting news:  I started packing for London.  Got a good portion packed.  I know I needed to get it done over the weekend because during the week I have no time.  And it's not like I'm bringing my work clothes to another country so all the jeans/cargo pants/etc are now in the suitcase.  I found those vaccuu-bags in Target last night - the bags that take all the air out of your clothes and shrink them to make more room in the suitcase.  They fucking rule!  The good thing is that these are the non-vaccuu bags, you just roll the air out of them.  Well, it took me actually sitting on the bags to get the air out of them...guess my arm strength isn't  good enough to roll.  funny!

For those of you who text me on a regular basis...hold off starting Friday.  Don't think Verizon works over in the UK, and Verizon certainly doesn't do the SIM card thing.  I will have my laptop over there so I can check emails and stuff when I'm at the hotel....but that won't be very often...I've got a busy busy schedule planned for every single day that I will be there.  Pictures will go up on fotki as often as possible...the last thing I need is to upload a million when I get back.  Look at the Canada trip....I took over 400 pictures in just 3 days....and never bothered to load them into Fotki.  Ya'll can start taking bets on how many pictures I will take in England!

AND - I'M SEEING SUICIDE COMMANDO LIVE NEXT SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 more days!

--Edit:  Answering the question before it's asked on here...it was already asked on a phone conversation.  Hells no I'm not touching blood pudding nor kidney pie.  yuck!  I barely eat red meat anymore to begin with, it grosses me out so much.  And we all know I won't touch seafood with a 10 foot pole.  Happy to hear that England has fantastic Indian food, I have a feeling I'll be eating mostly that.  LOL
