When I left the office Friday afternoon to go home, I told Mr. Smith that I was going to have fun this weekend since I didn't have class Saturday morning. It's so hard to believe that the weekend could go from good to bad as quickly as it did. I got a phone call Saturday morning that Allan and Gina were in a really bad accident and that Gina didn't make it. It didn't really hit me until I called my cousin Kristi to find out what happened only to realize that she didn't know, no one had called her yet. The hardest thing I've ever had to do was to tell her that her bestfriend had passed away. But everyone was making phone calls like that. I'm really lucky to have a group of friends that I do. Even if I don't see or talk to them very much, they are still and will always be the best group of people I know. Everyone did their part to call people they knew to give them the news. People were even calling to check up on each other. I'm thankful that Allan wasn't hurt worse than what he was and I'm thankful to have known Gina and I'm able to call her a dear friend. She'll never be forgotten and she'll always be loved and missed.
