Weeks have passed
Well a few weeks have passed since my last update, and the times have been a bit up and down for me...
Will start with the bad things first.... My dog of 11 years had to get put to sleep last thursday. My little baby boy suffered with a stroke sometime during the day on Wednesday, and by Thursday morning had basically lost the ability to stand up properly, so the decision was made to end his suffering, as he had been going downhill slowly, but the stroke took him past the point of no return. I unfortunately couldn't be with him when he was actually put down as I had to go to work and there was no way out of it. But the thing that annoyed me was that Mum didn't actually stay with him when she took him to the vet, so it meant that he was by himself when he was put down, which upset me. Love you and will miss you always...
But then also onto the good things that have come from the last week. I got the promotion that I was applying for, to transfer from Accounts into the Credit Team. I got a whole new title and everything. I'm officially a "Credit Control Officer" as of the 21st, yay! And a I got a payrise as well so was pretty stoked about that.
And my boy started working where I do as well today (he's in a different department though). Its a good thing I think, at least I will still get to see him fairly often now that his hockey season is kicking off shortly. Its so good for him to finally have a full time job as well, that will hopefully teach him alot of things.
Anyways I am going to wrap things up here cos I can't think of anything else to write...
