Much better news than before.
I have a house to live in Spokane. It is a lovely house built in 1903 with woodwork and funky room colors and a yard. A puppy lives there! so I'll be very happy with it. It is very reasonable rent, and I'm quite thrilled.
I stayed in a campground in Montana that had a river running right by the campsite, warm night air, beautiful stars, nice pine trees overhead, and no mosquitoes! Best overnight camping stay of my life.
I had a dream that H_ N_ and T_ B_ introduced me to a celebrity person who was kind of like a combination of Beck and Eddie Izzard (???). He and I got along so well that I knitted him a fabulously stripey scarf.
Missoula was cool, although C_ didn't have quite as good of luck in the apartment search as I did. We looked at 7 places, and each of them was wrong in some way... but the least wrong one is pretty nice and he took it. Some of the more wrong ones were really terribly wrong. Dare I say extremely sketchy? and terribly overpriced? Rent in college towns is criminal.
I am exhausted and glad to be home. I have to get ready to go to Lake Chelan next. Meh. I want sleep...
