Last night, my younger brother called my dad "epal" (and more?) after my dad complained about the noise from the PC. My dad was enraged and he began hitting him in the chest. His anger has reached its peak.
Of course, every parent has every right to intervene into his/her son's/daughter's affairs if it is affecting the whole family. Or your sleep.
My brother didn't budge one single bit.
He reasoned that he is just equal to his parents, that he can do whatever he wants in this house.
For Pete's sake, you can be equal to them if you go find your own job or you pass your simple Algebra class, not simply relax your ass in front of the damned PC. Amfness.
He doesn't want to be in this family but he won't leave this house. Why can't he? He has every right to do so. Besides, I think this family will be much more peaceful without him.
If he wants a change of heart, it's a two-way highway. He should learn to adjust to us. It's not just us who will bend to his every whim or what-nots.
Now, I think the blue iPod Nano my dad gave him for Christmas is a waste of money. We could have donated that to charity.
