enrollment day part 1

Nov 03, 2006 21:47

My day in bullets:

  • Got up      at 7 AM, left home with mom and little sister Chelsea by 8 AM and rode the      bus to Plaza Lawton. Reached Mapua Institute of Technology by 9 AM and got      the grading system certification. Ate merienda      (snacks) at McDonald’s.
  •
  • Rode      the LRT (Light Rail Transit) from Central Station to V. Cruz Station. It’s      Chelsea’s      first time to ride the train.
  •
  • Photocopied      the transfer credential and arrived at St. Scholastica’s College (SSC) by      10 AM.
  •
  • Waited      at the Admissions and Grants Office for an interview for 2 hours.
  •
  • The      office head talked to me about the why’s, how’s and what’s. She also told      me about the one-year probation for transferees.
  •
  • Was      told that I need an x-ray plate for the final assessment before enrolling.
  •
  • 1 PM. Hastily      rode a jeepney to Padre Faura where there are a lot of medical labs. Had a      quick procedure but the result will be released two hours later.
  •
  • Strolled      at Robinson’s Place Manila. Ate lunch and resisted ordering a      mouthwatering (not to mention expensive) parfait. Sauntered more.
  •
  • Returned      to the medical lab by 3 PM. Lungs and heart in good condition.
  •
  • Rode      another jeepney to SSC. Smoke was everywhere. Ewww.
  •
  • Reached      destination by 3:40 PM and went to find the clinic and met the kind      medical aide Miss Tina. Was told to return on Monday for medical and      dental check-up.
  •
  • Was      told by the Admissions that the one who will assess Fine Arts student      transferees have left. It was only 4 PM. They said I have to return tomorrow morning.

In short, enrollment is unsuccessful. =_=;

But my godmother gave me and my mom free facial treatments at her facial center. :D

We rode an ordinary fare bus on our way back home. And it rained. And had tofu for dinner.

I'm really tired. I'm taking a deep sleep tonight. And I don't want to live in the city. I prefer the suburbs or what some friends call rural-like living.

I don't like pollution at all!
