Stress and a Song
Hey I've been crazy busy like usual. ^__^
I got offered an interesting job. A friend of a friend has purchased some houses in Santa Cruz, CA to be used in a commune he is creating. He will not be ready to get the commune up and running until almost June 2007. He needs someone to basically housesit and do small repairs for those 9 months. I'm considering taking the job. The houses are right near the beach and I can't even explain how much I miss living next to the ocean. I am at my happiest when I can smell salt in the air and hear waves at night.
BUT...this would mean giving up my nice comfortable job and probably having to move again once the 9 months are up. I can not afford to live in Santa Cruz without free rent, and there are not many apartment complexes there. =/ So I'm not sure what I want to do.
Here is the song/lyrics part! A friend recently wrote a fic and told me that she was listening to "Hamburg Song" by Keane while writing it. I loved the sad wistful feel of the fic so I immediately downloaded the song and looked up the lyrics. I'm in love. This song is so sad and lovely. It makes me stop whatever I am doing when it comes on and just focus on listening.
