Music and Lyric Recommendations!
Alright! Here is the music post I have been planning on making for close to forever. I hope you like these insomnikat. :P So here are some lovely songs, and the lyrics that grabbed my attention from them.
I had a hard time picking which Delgados song to upload. This one caught me though because the lyrics remind me of a certain emo boy with skin as pale as milk…

A friend recently got me completely hooked on the band, Straylight Run. The music is excellent, but it’s the lyrics that truly captivated me. This one in particular has been on a lot lately as I work on a new angsty fic that I hope to share with you guys soon. ^^

If you haven’t heard of Morcheeba before you should really take a look at their Charango album. Their lyrics are not quite as arresting, but the beautiful melodies keep me happy.

I stumbled across the New Amsterdams on accident, but I’m glad I did. The band was formed by Matthew Pryor from the Get Up Kids, but it is much mellower than one might expect.

I'll sleep with one eye open, maybe you'll save my life.”
This last one has a much different feel to it, but it needed to be included. I fell in love with this song when I realized how much it reminded me of Soubi.
