Eh
I love finally being able to use rechargeable batteries, buuuut I'm also kinda hesitant and worried about 'em too. I wonder if there's a better option or brand than what I have now. Last year I had to get rid of a pack of 'em because they just had this awful sorta chemical or smokey smell to them after charging. I think the battery charger isn't built with one of those smart "Turn the thing off once it's done charging" because they just sit there and heat up and how the heck do you do something like that in 5-6 hours and time it just right? I usually do it while I'm sleeping since, if left at home it could just cause some fire while I'm gone for 9 hours. It's helped me a ton and I guess it's better and more affordable than constantly buying batteries for Wii-Motes, Keyboards, and my Mouse, but maybe I can check around some time and see if other brands can turn it off when it's done charging... because that seems like a rather important quality.
