I've been ponding about what exactly is 'value' of an artwork.
.....
In school, I thought artwork is valuable as long as viewers can understand the meaning of it, or if it could provoke some kind of emotional reaction in viewers, but
right now it's mostly about fame, money(as some contemporary art itself focuses on market...commercialism...etc.), business, reputation, and
I'm starting to think this question all over again.
Why is something like a rubbish sold with such a high price in auctions.

I came back home and started to draw/paint lots of 'junks'
and now I'm feeling refreshed though my eyes are in pain (not because of painting/drawing).
As for me that is my personal value of art.
